Oh yeah! Another volume of four episodes and no features in standard quality, aren't we fortunate? (Obvious sarcasm)
I tire of these volumes, a full season would be appreciated. Remember how long it took A Pup to get full season releases, I mean they must have released 10+ volumes before finally biting the bullet and just giving us the complete seasons.

I 100% understand what your saying, they did the same thing with "what's new". 10 volumes, at least they had bonus features, yes the were lame but at least they were there, then 3 season sets. But sadly, in this day and age money is more important then quality or the right thing. They put out these volumes in hopes that kids will see them and beg their parents to buy it and/or for collectors who need anything and everything with scooby on it, then they put out the season sets with a new cover hoping parents don't notice they already bought the episodes and/or again trying to get the collector to double dip. These are nothing but a sad cash grab.

It's tempting... But I really don't want any of these silly volumes, ultimately they'll release an entire set (Probably by the time I'm old and gray) and I'll buy that instead.
Volume sets annoy me. When I was younger I bought volume sets and then one day I realized they were now coming out with full seasons (Shows like Spongebob, Code Lyoko and Scooby Doo) and I was so angry that I had wasted my hard earned money. Since then I won't buy tiny volume sets like this, and even free I wouldn't take it.
You'd think they'd release these things in slim casing, that would be cheaper and it would occupy less space... But no no, please give us bad quality episodes on cheap disks in clunky casing...

I don't blame people for buying them, cheap and convenient is the cornerstone of the economy. I blame WB for not putting effort into their releases.
I really hope they do blu-ray for the full season, in general I think Cartoon Network should give us that option on more shows. That's not to say there's many shows I'd want on blu-ray, but their shows are broadcast in HD anyway, somebody somewhere would buy it I'm sure.

Effort? In a new WB animation release? (Goes insane with laughter)
in light of this mornings news, I don't think well see a blu-ray release for awhile. Just look at shows like batman: the brave and the bold, that's batman and it hasn't gotten a blu. What chance do we scooby fans have?

I realized the reality of getting a blu-ray release from the beginning, it's obviously never going to happen but I like to dream.
I guess I blame the blu-ray Camp Scare for giving me a taste of Mystery Incorporated on Blu. Looking back it was sort of cruel for WB to give us a taste of something they have no intention of actually giving us. Still the dream lives on...

I'm with ya in that dream, buddy. Yeah it was very cruel! Cause as you know, that episode was sssssoooooooo beautiful. Animation is amazing on blu, I wish more people would realize that.

Well most people don't see cartoons as art, they tend to write off animation as some childish frippery. However when it comes down to it animation ends up being better than most live action crap. I hate how little respect animation is given. Shows like MI highlight the art that is animation and yet it doesn't get the blu-ray release it deserves. Sooner or later though when DVD gets phased out we'll see everything on blu (Or whatever format is popular at the time), so I guess in time we'll get a good quality release, it'll just take time.
