Is he the original voice of Johnny Quest? He'll be playing Fred's supposed "real" father.

I think so, he's a very accomplished tv director and actor these days.
I'd rather he voiced Dr.Benton Quest.

I don't think I've ever watched Johnny Quest, so...

I've seen a few ep's, it's okay, but I'm more a fan of his recent work.

Johnny Quest was fine, but growing up in the 90's I liked The real adventures of Johnny Quest better (It had terrible CGI in that version, but it was pretty neat for the time). The original was sort of predictable to me.

Strangely, How was Matheson's voice work on the old johnny quest? It's been years since I've seen the show.
I know it probably won't happen but I'd like to see an episode focused on Don Knotts. We keep seeing him around town, why not have him involved.

It's been years for me too, but I do recall liking his work in the show. I was all around pretty impressed with the casting for that series, it was pretty good voice acting, I thought they were very believable.

Wasn't there an ep in the past with josie and the pussycats? If so, I'd like to see a deal cut with archie comics to bring them back as well.

Josie and the pussycats, classic Hannah Barbara, I really think more of the old shows should come back.
I always loved that crossover episode because Casey Kasem voiced two characters (That sounded and looked and acted almost the same) and they never interacted the entire episode (I don't even think Alexander was allowed to talk during group scenes so as to avoid confusion). That just cracks me up, I can only wonder if their would have Earth-ending paradoxes as the result of them meeting.

Now that I think about it, I did see a rip in the fabric of reality the other day...you maybe onto something. That episode is much like johnny quest for me, I saw it years ago and barely remember it. I just know I liked it because I loved scoob and archie comics. Sort of a "two great things that taste great together" type of things.
Something else that I'm hoping for: I hope we find out that mayor jones stole brad's identity so fred can stay fred. Or something along those lines, I just can't imagine calling fred anything but jones.

It's possible Fred might just keep the name out of habit. I mean legally the mayor had to of done something to make sure nobody would catch on. Perhaps in some weird legal sense Fred really is a Jones. Perhaps the mayor told everyone he was an orphan and thus legally adopted him in which case it would be his legal name. And even if Fred finds his real parents would he really change his name, would he even stay with them? I mean mentally their not his parents, he grew up believing otherwise and so he may never actually accept them as his parents, its hard to say what might happen.
