What movies are youse guys looking forward to this year?
For me there is really only one movie that gets my blood uh pumpin'.
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!
Other then that, Aarman's newest effort and Spidey-man(but I'll leave that to it's own thread).
Those are the only 3 that come to mind for me right now though.

Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, Amazing Spider-man. Those three are pretty much tied for me. Then there's Prometheus which they keep saying is a original story but is obviously a Alien prequel. There's also the Bourne Legacy, but that one I'm not so sure about yet.

There's Prometheus which they keep saying is a original story but is obviously a Alien prequel. That looks interesting. Yeah, nobodies really sure what that movie is. Started as an Alien prequel, then they scrapped it for an all new story, then they figured they'd leave some of the connections, now? Not even the writers/producers/director/actors know what in the world it is. Could make for a great movie or a trainwreck from all the behind the scenes flip flopping. Another one that I'm looking forward to is Seth Macfarlane's directorial debut "Ted". |

I did see Ted. It was good but no what I was expecting. It turns at a certain point from a full on comedy to a bit of a hostage film.
I saw Dark Knight Rises also. That was way better than expected, which isn't saying much because after the last one I had very low expectaions.
It was a watered down version of a couple of comic storylines.
Those are the only ones I have seen so far, how about youse guys?

Avengers: in my opinion, the second best superhero movie of all time.
Amazing Spider-man: this was a lot better than I was expecting, And I really like Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone,
The Dark Knight Rises: I had many problems with TDKR, but I still enjoyed it. It's the weakest of the three for me
Brave: doesn't feel like a Pixar movie
Chronicle: a great found footage movie.
Ghost Rider 2: one of the worst superhero movies ever.
Men in Black 3: I really wanted to like this one, but couldn't bring myself to do so.
Prometheus: this film got bashed, but I really enjoyed it.
