That's beautiful man.
I can not wait for this movie. After a slow start WB looks to be starting to kick into a good groove with the promotion of this flick, i hope to see this with in the first 3 weeks.

I was at barnes & noble yesterday and they had a table set up with a bunch of kiddie books, mugs, and those vinayl doll thingys. Which leads me to believe a real novel is on the way for that.

Really? I've looked and asked here but, like the thor one, no one can find it. But the difference between thor and GL is they never had a table of stuff for thor.

Based on who the author is and the page count i think that actually might be a junior novel.

My biggest was this: they took hal jordan, a man who does things just to prove he isn't afraid, and made him a man, who at times, is paralyzed by fear. Based on that alone I have no clue why the ring chose him, it should have just kept going and found guy gardner.
The woman they cast as amanda waller, I think it was angela basett, didn't fit. She wasn't forceful and she wasn't the overweight amanda we've come to know and love (hate?).[/quote]Yeah, she was pretty terrible.
Blake lively is beautiful, but the movie would have been better if it had spent more of it's time off of earth instead of showing us just how purty she is. Her stuff was a bit to mushy as well
I still hate those costumes. They could have saved a bunch of money if they had gone with one universe design and if they wouldn't have had them give off little wisps of pulsating energy from the lines of the suits. They could have just given them all a green glow.

I actually feel the same way. It's a good movie. It's nowhere near as bad as the critics say it is. That being said, it has a lot of problems. I think the biggest problem I had was that it felt like I watching a big screen episode of Smallville, featuring Hal Jordon vs. a poop cloud. The editing was very choppy. Too much time on Earth. The Hector Hammond stuff was just dull and boring. It wasn't just Hal Jordon. They made pretty much everyone in this movie a wimp or too afraid to fight. Yeah, she was pretty terrible. I didn't think she was that bad{well, most of the movie anyways}. I actually quite liked the suits. The only thing I don't like is the mask. Overall, I give it a generous 7/10. And uh, your post got a little edited there. Sorry about that ;D
