Which game franchise/franchises is/are your favorite and why? List as many as you want and tell us why you love each.
Mine would be: 1. Grand Theft Auto. Because it has so many missions, side quests, and mini games to keep it fresh and interesting. You can play games like pool or darts for money, or do any number of different vehicle races, cars, bikes, go karts, or dune buggies, again for cash. Then you have the cities, the GTA games have some of the most well thought through and designed cities in video games. And they tend to choose some great music for those games as well.
2. Uncharted. Simply because it is like playing a video game of a modern day indiana jones. And it seems lucasarts has no plans for a indy game, so this will have to do.
So what are your favorites?

Mine is the Splinter Cell games. Lots of fun. 1. Tom Clancy's Splinter CellThis was my favorite of the series for awhile. This is the game that reinvented the stealth action game, and for good reason. The stealth gameplay is fantastic. It's a bit dated now, but it still holds up. The only problem is there is some frustrating trial and error gameplay. You'll be playing the same level many times. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oxz8EBHfXTA2. Splinter Cell: Pandora TommorowI think this is the first SC game I played. It's a step up from the first, in gameplay and graphics. Still has that frustrating trial and error gameplay, but not as tedious. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-fNcijSp0U3. Splinter Cell: Choas TheoryThis really is the perfect Splinter Cell game{or any stealth game for that matter}. Ubisoft really perfected everything from previous games. No teadious trial and error. Better ineraction with the enviorment. More choices on how to take out your enemies. I can't really say enough about this game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyrYv9nt7l84. Splinter Cell: Double AgentThis is where the series started going downhill. Double Agent was good, but not great. The best thing they added to this game was that they gave you various choices throughtout the game. You could chooese between the good guys or the bad guys path. The game could just use some variety between those choices. Now there are two versions of Double Agent. The 360/PS3 version, and the XBOX/PS2 version. The PS2 version has the same basic story but the gameplay is more similar to Choas Theory. Still not as good as the previous games though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9uzlVHQGlg5. Splinter Cell: ConvictionFor the fifth game, they completely redesigned everything. It's now more of a action game than a stealth action game. I hated Conviction at first. I hated the direction they took the franchise in. I stiill kinda do. You no longer have the ability to knock enemies out. And while the mark and exacute feature is cool, it makes the game too easy. It's not a terrible game though. It's fun. Just not a good Splinter cell game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-UryXpuxy0&ob=av3e

No shame in that, sir. Did anybody see the trailer for GTA V? I'm glad it was finally announced, I hope it takes up the entire state of San Andreas and not just the one little city. But I'm super excited for it either way.
