www.computerandvideogames.com/319760/previews/batman-arkham-city-leaving-the-asylum-proves-a-breath-of-fresh-air/While I 100% do not agree with what they say about Arkham Asylum (personally I think it was the definitive translation of the dark knight from page to screen and the first to actually show the worlds greatest detective being just that, a detective), the comparison to grand theft auto excites me even more. The "flight", as seen in 1 or more of the videos above, looks and sounds, also as I've said above, to be a vast improvement over that of the previous game. Reading someone talk about the various aspects of this game, for me, is akin to a little kid sitting on grandpas knee as he tells yet another heroic war story. With just about 4 weeks to go the tension and excitement are building to astronomical levels, clearly.

Batman: Arkham City #5 was released today (august 24th) www.tfaw.com/Profile/Batman-Arkham-City-5-(of-5)___386749I meant to cover this more thoroughly but, I'll be honest, I dropped the ball. This was a five issue mini-series bridging the gap between Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and there were also digital issues to give even more detail. And from what I hear there will also be a graphic novel gathering both the digital and hard copy issues into a single volume in the very near future. If I find more info on that I'll let you know. As promised here's the update on the arkham city graphic novels. It does indeed collect the digital and, of course, the print issues. www.dccomics.com/dcu/graphic_novels/?gn=19672It's coming this Wednesday (October 12th) in a hardcover edition, I'd expect a trade paperback edition in 3-8 months. Maybe longer.

www.superherohype.com/news/articles/168628-batman-arkham-city-swag-arrives-at-shhThis is the promotional package that WB has sent out for the game. As promo packs go this is pretty weak sauce. This has the CD, a controller, and a shirt. The Green Lantern movie promo pack had a ring from the movie among other things, so you can see how this falls short by comparison. They do say the shirt is a part of a tie-in clothing line available at hot topic stores. Just five days to go!

I read an article the other day that said the catwoman missions that were talked about before as if they were apart of the release disc were pulled out and turned into a DLC package for sometime in the future, but now for some reason I can't find the article to post a link to it. So if anybody can confirm or deny this for me it would be much appreciated.

I think this has replaced Spider=man 2 as my go to superhero game. So much fun.

So if anybody can confirm or deny this for me it would be much appreciated. It is on the disc, you just have to use the code(and be online) to unlock it. I really don't like this "online pass" thing. It's dumb you have to unlock something that's already on the disc.

WOW!!! That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard, on the disc yet locked away. I love the game but that just feels...very underhanded. I really wish you could just unlock it offline. That is very frustrating! Thanks for the info.
