www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBXDHznD83gThis is the new 12 minute gameplay trailer! Clearly, from this and what I saw from E3, rocksteady has fixed my only 2 problems with Arkham Asylum. 1. You couldn't glide/fly very long or far in AA. In this you can go from one end of the area to the other with out ever touching the ground. 2. It looks like you can grapple from almost anywhere. In AA you had to be very close to where ever you wanted to grapple to. Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of my most favorite games, Batman: Arkham City looks 10 times better! I. Can. Not. Wait. To get this!

Just announced: solomon grundy will be a villain, probably for a boss battle, you fight after you fight off a bunch of penguin underlings.
I'll post the video when I can find it.

BTAS one is pretty sweet, we really need another Batman game in that art style (Vengeance for the original Xbox had a pretty good look).

BTAS one is pretty sweet, we really need another Batman game in that art style (Vengeance for the original Xbox had a pretty good look). I couldn't agree more, I love the realistic "arkham" style but these games would mean more to me if they had brought the style over with the cast. On another note: Harley will be voiced by Tara Strong this time around. I wish they would just stick with Arleen Sorkin.

I loved Batman: Vengeance. Don't think I ever finished it though.

It was announced to day that, much like arkham asylum, arkham city will be available in stupid gimmicky 3-D. Can't you tell I love 3-D? Do any of you think 3-D is necessary? Here's a site I found the other day while trying to snatch the last few riddler trophies and what not: www.arkhamcare.comI think it's when you go through the medical facility that a guy on the PA system starts talking about their care plans and gives a subpage of that site. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Batman: Arkham City #5 was released today (august 24th) www.tfaw.com/Profile/Batman-Arkham-City-5-(of-5)___386749I meant to cover this more thoroughly but, I'll be honest, I dropped the ball. This was a five issue mini-series bridging the gap between Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and there were also digital issues to give even more detail. And from what I hear there will also be a graphic novel gathering both the digital and hard copy issues into a single volume in the very near future. If I find more info on that I'll let you know.

www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/news/a334331/batman-arkham-city-studio-rocksteady-confident-over-open-world-shift.html#localeThis article is very interesting for a number of reasons. The way they explain it, and as best I understand it, arkham asylum was sort of claustrophobic in that once in an area you were locked in, to an extent, but in arkham city it will be a more freeing experience. That's not even considering that the world is 5X larger then arkham city, they really seem to want to step up the open world aspects. The other most interesting thing to me is if you go off, and screw around, doing side missions and get lost, all you have to do is look to the skies for the bat-signal to find out how to get back on track with the main story.

Everybodies favorite (DC) contract killer, Deadshot A.K.A. Floyd Lawton, was recently announced. Here's his unveiling, once again thanks to Ross, and a bit about how he gets involved in the game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aA63hv-07sI really would rather have had something closer to the classic Deadshot costume, but I'll hope that they'll explain why he couldn't get it into Arkham city. What do you all think?
