NO! They don't. While the wolverine movie did, the game based on the movie was a great game. Spider-man 2(and 3, since it was pretty much exactly like 2) was a great game. Even though it has gotten a lot of heat, the thor game isn't as horrible as we've all been lead to believe. What other movie games do you know of that are good?

I've read many reviews of the Captain America: the first avenger game and most are very favorable.

It really depends on the game honestly.
Best: Ghostbusters: The Video Game Spider-man 2{didn't care for Spider-man 3 that much} Batman Begins X-men Orgins: Wolverine
Worst: Iron Man/Iron Man 2 Scooby Doo: The ovie{GBA} Superman 64{presumably based on Superman: TAS} E.T.{Atari 2600}

I forgot about Batman Begins, I feel It influenced Arkham Asylum a bit.
Um, am I the only one that thought Iron Man 2 was a VAST improvement over Iron Man 1? While it wasn't great it was way better, but it was SUPER short.
The Harry Potter games were good except for goblet of fire and deathly hollows part 1, haven't had the chance to play part 2 yet. They incorporated some stuff from the books which helped them.

What's funny is that I've agreed with all the reviews on every single one of the Marvel games. Iron Man 1 and 2? Blah. The Incredible Hulk? Just a bland watered down version of the awasome "Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Descruction" for PS2. Captain America isn't really that good, but isn't terrible either. I have no intentions on playing Thor.

(I guess they didn't really add anything new but it was still fun, same as Spider-Man 3.) Again i must say, Thor isn't nearly as bad as it is said to be. It can be a pain in the you know what but it's not horrible.

If you have no intention of playing Thor I have to tell you...STAY AWAY FROM THE GREEN LANTERN GAME!!!! It is just a bad rip-off of Thor, without any of the fun. It doesn't make you feel powerful at all.
Captain America is pretty fun, not great but fun. Way better then any of the other marvel games, except TIH of course.
And Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 is a bit better then part 1.

Another great one is the Thomas Jane Punisher game. Other then the spidey movie games, that is probably my favorite hero movie game.
I remember how hilarious the load screens were, there was one that told how to get blood out of your clothes. Still makes me laugh.
