The Hall Of Fame Wrestling Manager died on March 5th 2013 at the age of 58, just over a month shy of his 59th birthday.
Probably most famous for his portrayal of the Paul Bearer character in WWE, a character most closely associated with The Undertaker and Kane..
Moody had a long career before joining WWE in February 1991 as The Undertaker's manager.
He last appeared in WWE in April of 2012, with Kane. A run that, sadly, I missed.
His last public appearance was March 2nd of this year.
At this point it's unknown exactly what the cause of death was, but there have been reports that he had a blood clot in his leg.
As a life long WWE/Undertaker fan this was a hard hit.
Undertaker has always been my favorite wrestler and I highly doubt the Undertaker would be as cool and creepy as he is today without Paul Bearer's influence. The same for Kane.
I sent Mr.Moody an E-mail once telling him how big a fan I was of his and his response was truly touching.
I can't really express how shocked and saddened I was to hear about his death. He truly will be miss.
