I haven't seen much from it, a few teaser pictures at most, but I hear J.K. Simmons is voicing J. Jonah Jameson. So by that alone you can color me intrigued. I'd watch almost anything with that dude in it.
I'm apprehensive about the whole "Ultimate" thing, frankly I've always thought most of the ultimate books sucked so... And I've never been a huge Bendis fan either.

They finally announced a premiere date for this! April 1st 2012 on the Disney XD network. It's gonna be apart of a marvel programming block called "Marvel Universe", which is Marvel/Disney's answer to DC getting a block on cartoon network.
I heard on an episode of the Smodcast podcast a few ep's back that Scott Mosier has written a couple of episodes of this, so that should be interesting aswell.

It was a heck of a lot better than I thought it would be. It's basically the Spider-man version of Brave and the Bold. They go a little overboard on the humor at points, but that's about the only negitve I can say at this time. Otherwise, a fun show.

We all know Spidey is the master of the team up, so does it translate well in this series? Can you provide a bit of info on the story?

But I haven't seen any episodes since then and I haven't heard good things. And they're canceling Avengers EMH, so screw that

I'm a big fan of the Ultimate comics but not a big fan of the ultimate cartoons. It's decent but feel like a kiddie Deadpool. Cartoon/Marvel team-up cartoon instead of a true Spider-man Cartoon like Spectacular Spider-man(a perfect mix of Ultimate Spider-man comics,Sam Rami Spider-man triology , and the original Spider-man comics from 60s to current) or the first few season of 90's Spider-man cartoons. I hope the second season of Ultimate Spider-man better but yeah I'm pretty mad about them cancelling the Avengers cartoon.

I had the chance to see 1 episode of this show recently, the episode titled "Run Pig Run", and I liked it.
Loki turns Spider-Man into Spider-Ham.
It wasn't as good as Spectacular Spider-Man but I see a lot of potential in it.
