I've always liked the first the best, though the other 2 were good as well. Spider-Man had the most Defoe so that gave it the edge for me.

As much as I'd like to say the first spider man is my favorite I've never been able to get over the horrible green goblin costume. So I'd say spider man 2 has my vote.

Yeah and that scene on the roof which looked like someone was playing with action figures. But Spider-Man had Macho Man Randy Savage. "Oh yeah"

I feel Spider-man 2 had the best story and the best villian. Doc Ock was so much better than PowerRanger Goblin{though William Defoe was so great in that role, I can't really fault him for having a silly costume}. Tobey Maguire had his best performace as Spidey. In SM3, he got a little over the top and a bit too hammy.

No question, Tobey had a powerhouse performance in 2. And Alfred Molina was brilliant as ock. Bruce Campbell's cameo was great as well. It's just a bit of personal preference.
If we were talkin' about the special edition of Spider-Man 2 I'd say it was my favorite of the 3, jameson in the suit is priceless.
Am I really the only on that didn't have a huge problem with the goblin armor? It's more practical then the elf suit, tactically speaking.

Yeah, but it would have stuck out like a sore thumb in that movie. They tried to make a very grounded superhero movie and to have some dude running around in a purple and green elf suit chuckin' pumpkin bombs would have just looked goofy.
